September 24th is National Ghost Hunting Day! This day is observed to investigate the paranormal and also to kick off the season full of haunted attractions and fall festivities leading up to Halloween.

In honor of today, Aly investigated to see if there was any paranormal activity surrounding the brooch containing 160 year old hair on display in our California Gallery. The brooch once belonged to Delia M. Ingram and it was presented to her on her wedding day in 1860. Using hair in jewelry or decorations was a common mourning practice in the Victorian era.

While our Paranormal Investigations are currently sold out for the season, and our upcoming Ghost Tours too, we hope to renew our Paranormal Investigations in January!
