Very few hikers ever make it this deep in the canyon most people if they want to get to Genoa Peak offroad there or take the Tahoe Rim Trail. We wanted to make sure we hiked deep enough in the canyon where we could look for evidential discoveries. Jarrod seen a large black furry creature on two legs standing behind a tree near the ravine watching us. I didn't think much of it but I still interviewed him because I did find in the area a large track and heard some noises I couldn't explain. Perhaps instead of looking for this creature it was tracking us down!
