Something attacked my voice recorder!

Early on the morning of August 8th, 2021, just after 3 A.M. (the witching hour), my Philips DVT7500 voice recorder was thrown onto the ground by something unknown. I'm not saying this was paranormal. There are many deer in these woods of Dunbar Township, PA. But is it normal deer behavior for them to attack electronic devices in the woods? This is the third time in a row this has happened in the same location. The sound clip was cut from a recording session that lasted ten hours. The next morning the recorder was turned off and partially covered in debris when I found it. I'd like to hear others thoughts and opinions on this.
