On February 4, 2023, the United States Air Force shot down an alleged Chinese spy balloon off the coast of South Carolina. The balloon is said to have a payload of surveillance equipment approximately 30 feet long, weighing up to several thousand pounds. The mystery deepens when other unknown aerial objects were shot down at three more separate locations across North America within the next two weeks. When officials were asked, they said that they could not rule out extraterrestrials as being behind at least one of the objects that were shot down.

Conspiracy theorists’ debate whether the government really did shoot down four aerial objects, or if the events are fiction made up by the government to control the population.
