In this video we went to an old abandoned convent. We was joined by myself, High Times Exploring, STD Explorers, Paranation, and creepy explorer. It was a busy night. We was able to fit in a pre investigation. At some point we will return and continue investigating the place.

Knolle Park House
(St Gabrial's Convent)

“This is a regency house, Knoll Park built in the 1820’s by Thomas Foster who was the Town Clerk of Liverpool. He chose himself a fantastic location because we are now on the highest part of Liverpool, although in those days of course this wasn’t part of Liverpool. St Gabriel’s Convent, is a grade II listed building in Woolton, Liverpool. It was built ca 1840 and later run as a children’s home by an order of German nuns. A different set of nuns took over in 1914 and a number of additions were made to the site during the 1960s and 70s including extensions and some outbuildings. The convent finally closed in the last decade amid some scandal.

"Next to the main gates there’s a Grecian style lodge, like a temple. These would have been the main gates where the carriages would have swept in. A very nice corner of the property. It’s something you wouldn’t notice easily which is why it’s very important to walk around an area”

"The house would have had a marvelous view, as we can see right over looking east towards Manchester. That’s one reason why the merchants came here because it was an excellent location.”

millionaire businessman Andrew Christian, imprisoned for 11 years in February last year, for preying on boys aged six to 17, at the Knolle Park children's home in Woolton, Liverpool.

On Tuesday 18th May Abney Garsden Mcdonald, Cheadle, as co-ordinating solicitors will issue new proceedings, " Woolfe Style", on behalf of 14 Victims of Child Abuse (All Male) who attended St. Gabriels Convent (aka Knolle Park Children's Home) in the 70's and 80's, most of whom are the victims of Andrew Christian who is currently doing 11 years at Her Majesty's pleasure.
