Beginning in 1956 and then again 10 years later, an otherwise innocuous-looking home in Ponterfract, West Yorkshire, UK was the scene of some of the most dramatic manifestations of poltergeist activity even witnessed. Equal parts benign and malevolent, it tormented two families who lived there and remains to this day one of the most haunted homes in the world.
