The House That Inspired 'The Conjuring' Haunted? Ghost Adventures soon to investigate! Ed and Lorraine Warren conducted paranormal investigations at this farmhouse. New Owners recently purchased the real-life haunted house depicted in the film, which claims to be based on a true story of a family terrorized by paranormal activity in the 1970s.

Graduated high school in 1997 and joined the Marines directly afterwards. I married my high school sweetheart Jennifer in 1999 and had my daughter Madison in 2000 and then my son Kyler in 2002. My first paranormal experience was in 2002 when I spent the night on a civil war battlefield in VA. We were woken up by the sound of gunfire and screams, yet there was nobody around us. Come to find out it happens quite a lot according to our tour guide who arrived the next morning. I spent the next 11 years dabbling in little haunted houses and stuff, but nothing exciting because my military career kept me on the go. When I retired in 2013 my wife gave me an overnight investigation of Rolling Hills Asylum for a retirement gift. Since then I’ve been all over the US investigating famous haunted locations and helping with investigating private homes with numerous teams I belonged to. My latest venture is the purchase of the Conjuring house in Harrisville, RI. Which is turning out to be just as active as they portrayed it in the movie, just not as evil.
