Today, for the first time in a while, I decided exactly what to do with my day, and the first idea was to check out Thors Cave, a place which I'd wanted to visit for a long time. The huge cave, with history ranging from its usage as a prehistoric shelter, to a movie setting (The Lair of the White Worm) in 1988, was 100% worth the climb down.

The whole day was totally well spent, and much needed, heading from the great outdoors of Staffordshire to the iconic city of York.
