Why do we carve pumpkins at Halloween and make Jack o Lantern? Do you know exactly where this tradition came from that has you and your children cutting open those bright orange cords, reaching in and pulling out that goop, then cutting a face and putting a candle inside? Well, just so happens, there is the legend of Stingy Jack that goes back to Ireland and tells the tales of a man who tricked the devil to his so much that he was stricken to roam the Earth for eternity. Sit back and listen to The Legend of Stingy Jack.

In this video, we captured footage from the Pumpkin Walk that was at the Fellows Riverside Garden in Mill Creek Park, Youngstown Ohio on October 14, 2018. You will be able to watch along as Boris explains the reason behind carving pumpkins today.
