Doctor of biological sciences, a brilliant sci-fi writer, and a bold visionary, Ivan Yefremov had written more than 100 scientific works. He had two Paleontological expeditions to Mongolia, and discovered the death worms, and more…The KGB, Soviet secret police, believed he was an alien...Yefremov was equally at home among the stars, in the open ocean, in the cataclysms of the distant geological epochs, or in the nonexistent world of anti-matter. There had to be knowledge in his possession that has not been revealed fully. One month after his death in October of 1972, the KGB sealed off his modest apartment on the Spasoglinischevsky Pereulok, full of books, diaries, scientific treatises, maps, notebooks, and many other items.

My name is Paul Stonehill. I am an author, lecturer, television consultant, and researcher of Russian, East European, Central Asian and Far Eastern paranormal phenomena. My articles have been translated and published in many languages, from French to Ukrainian to Hungarian to Japanese to Spanish; and the books co-authored with British author and researcher Philip Mantle, have been translated into 8 languages. I am fluent in Russian and know Ukrainian, and have been pursuing Russian-Eurasian paranormal research since my youth.
