The Mothman has become one of the most popular mysteries of recent times, thank in no little part to a feature film based on the most well known events the creature is linked to that happened in Point Pleasant, WV, 2002's The Mothman Prophecies. But The Mothman has been spoken of for years prior and continues to be. Portent of doom or a supernatural warning sign, The Mothman's history and appearances have terrified and fascinated. In this first episode of Mytheries we will peer into the darkness for those haunting red eyes and will hear a never before heard first hand encounter with the creature itself...just before a horrible tragedy.

SERIES SYNOPSIS: Mythteries: Showcase various myths and mysteries from around the world and shines the light on incidents that have rocked history and can still not be explained. Each episode will be about a creature/myth/or in some cases people that are connected to it. To this day the creepiest thing about vampires is the fact that basically every culture in the world has a vampire myth but they never communicated to each other...so how did they know about them too? This is the place where Myth and Mystery combine.
