Strange sightings dating back generations report that a tall, hairy, upright creature stalks the deserts and wooded areas of Nevada. The beast, which can only be described by those who have seen it as half-man, half-animal can only be compared to the Sasquatch of North America. The Sand Yeti is a lesser-known, more adaptable creature that travels from different climates is sighted in the desert almost as much as its seen in the forests. Some say that the creature is aggressive, showing stalking behavior, almost "hunting" individuals. Others who have seen the creature state that it is often seen to flee modern humans as if it wants to remain hidden.

In March of 2020 a small group of researchers embarked on a month-long expedition in search of the mysterious creature known as the Sand Yeti. The group, armed with an arsenal of the latest equipment, recent sighting reports, and more than 17 years of field research each, opened a new frontier in paranormal research.
