This is a 10k white gold and real diamond ring that is called the Shrew ring. It has a total of 11 diamonds, 5 on each side and the one in the center on a raised setting. I would have to guess that it is about a size 5.

Believe me, it is a VERY beautiful ring and if it fit my wife's finger she would keep it.

This ring holds the nine muses that spoke through John Dee's crystal ball, the Shrew stone. The center diamond is called the eye of fire and acts the same way as the original did. The eye of the ring has great clarity and I have used it for scrying experiments which worked very well.

The nine muses provide mystical knowledge and the opening of all 7 senses. They taught John Dee many, many things. When I have used it for gazing it almost puts me in to a weird day dream that I can't quite focus on, but leaves me with great ideas that I was not even thinking of to begin with. Something that's a bit hard to describe, and the energy around it is vibrant. Dee Dee has also tested this ring and will agree that the nine muses are very real and active.

One of the things that I found most interesting is that the owner before me said that the muses had told her John Dee was alive and well living today and that the owner of the ring should come into contact with him. I don't know if this is reincarnation, immortality or what exactly she meant by that. But I thought it was very interesting that IF he was alive he could hone in on the ring, and that the ring could be used to find him.

Definitely something that should be worn and used often.
