this story is about a cousin's experiences with the occult. Since childhood, the cousin had witnessed strange occurrences, which continued when he moved to a secluded house in Greater Noida with a friend. The cousin would often wake up to sounds of quarrels between his friend and his girlfriend, who would cry in a painful voice. When his friend had to go out of town, he was left to take care of the girl, who would cry in the same way at night. One night, she washed and hung all of his clothes, which was unusual. The next day, the cousin found out that she was a vegetarian and did not eat the fish they had cooked the previous night, which he found startling. The girl then complimented him and said that if his friend found out, he would reprimand her, not the cousin. This shocked him, and he wanted to get rid of her presence. He booked her tickets for home, and she left, warning him not to go to her room much. When he returned to the house, he saw a girl sitting in the bathroom, who told him to leave the place. The cousin fainted, and when he woke up, he fled from the house. Later, he found out that the house owner, an NRI, had killed his wife in that wash tub, and had another wife with whom he had moved abroad.
