Oakhurst House was built in 1848 for the Johnson family who owned the nearby Wireworks, it became a place of worship between 1924 & 1939 and post war it was converted into flats before it became abandoned in the 1970's. The house is itself very haunted but the stories of death and tragedy in the woods that surround it made this an especially eerie place to investigate.
