I am standing on a mine debris pile overlooking seven-mile canyon which overlooks the Hebrew Cemetery, mine dump ruins below and many other mines scattered throughout the canyon. One reason you can tell this was a large operation is that the canyons and hillsides are covered with massive mounds of debris that was mined here. I am living on the edge as I can see where we hiked below on our first investigation and where the truck was damaged almost tipping over. These are amazing views for Virginia Cities once thriving mills that crushed all the ore that I am carefully walking on. Notice the tailings in the video as well and rods protruding out of the debris piles one wrong fall and that could be a serious indictment into the cemetery up on the hill.
