Its been a long time since we played up at the ranch but since we been having some warmer weather up here it was to gorgeous of a day to pass up. The thing about playing here is you do not deal with the drama that is often found at the MAC and dealing with big egos. Id much rather play here even though shooting on the double rim, dealing with win and bent rims is a bit challenging it also strengthens our game. Things are changing even at the ranch dozens of new homes are being built so were losing our views just like anywhere else up here in Carson City so that is a bit disappointing. But the weather was nice it got up in the 50s perfect hooping weather. Will start off by shooting for awhile ill tell you what I forgot how difficult it is to shoot on these rims. So it took the life out of me to start making more quality shots. Eventually we played three games of 21 its been forever since I played but its a good endurance game. Games were close 21 - 19 me, 14 -21 Zach and the last game was 21 - 10 - 14 Zach. That last game took forever we were all so tired could barely lift the ball like I said when you don't ball for a few months you can feel the burn its going to take a few practices to get back into scrimmaging. But games were close Zach and I pummeled a few really good shots I just find that accuracy outdoors goes down in comparison to playing at the MAC. By the end of this practice I felt myself again making some laser pointer threes and in a few weeks ill even be sharper so the outdoor practice was good for us especially since the MAC was closed and they do not allow us to bring our Bluetooth boombox. So plenty to love music, toking that nectar, good weather and more privacy with that being said welcome to our first winter classic. Does not even look like winter out does it? But it is! Plus I can bring my dog Winston here so its a win because he loves coming out to get fresh air!
