A woman who claims she was stalked by a troubled spectre says she overcame a fear of ghosts by moonlighting as a ghosthunter.

Office worker Debbie McAll says the paranormal creature "attached" itself to her in late 2012, staying with her for an entire year, and even dragging her down the stairs.

It was only when Debbie found more understanding from a medium that she felt she could "regain control" of her life by ridding herself of the negative energy that allowed the ghost to attach to her.
