The City of Wonder was established in 1906 as it had boarding houses, saloons, hotels, cafes, residences, assay off, stage line, freight station, mills, mines, drug store, restaurants, sports lounge and so much more. Today none of it remains except for a few foundations and this monolithic mill which is a true temple of its time built in 1913 which operated as a 200 ton cyanide processing plant to separate the gold and silver from the ore extracted from the mines above it. in this clip we take you on the journey through the tiers of history and remnants of this massive mill ruins. Not much remains but the vault and stone walls are truly beautiful sites to bare witness to. Besides most of the mill, town and mines being dismantled a really bad earthquake struck the town site in 1954 leading to its final demise.
