Dorothy Cole was a resident of the small town of Foster, RI. She owned much of the land int he Hopkins Mills area of town and has a brook, bridge, and a hill named after her. The areas that are named after her are presumably haunted. A "woman in white" near the Hopkins Mill Pond has been reported by numerous individuals over the years. Sometimes she is hold a bucket, sometimes not.
