They have been talking about demolition for years now, but this school still stands!!!

Built in 1918, this beautiful abandoned school operated until 1971. Courses up to grade 10 were taught here. Their used to be an auditorium on the top floor, and the classrooms were on the bottom floors. In 1920, this tiny little school actually had 115 kids enrolled with only 6 teachers!! Apparently, the the elementary teachers earned $95 per month salary, and the high school teachers made $150. Due to lack of enrollment, the school sadly had to shut down in 1971. Later on, the school building was taken over by the city, and was actually sold to a former teacher. Then after that, the school was sold from the teacher over to a former student!! Weird!! Now, this glorious masterpiece is left to rot until demolition.
