This footage is taken at the other end of crater lake in an avalanche zone this is why there is so much snow at this section of the lake. Some of the snow had walls higher then me however there were parts where it was breaking apart and unfortunately prior to shooting this video I fell in the water. My main goal was to hike on out to the peninsula which protrudes a little ways out onto the lake. This in turn would give me a great opportunity to photograph the lake. Notice how clear the water it and also the magnificent waterfalls which surround this little valley. Sorry the footage wasn't at all that great I was pretty cold and was so excited from finding some tracks that I really wasn't paying any mind to where I was pointing my cam.
