Crook Hall is on Sidegate - a forgotten hillside immediately to the north of Durham, squeezed between the East Coast Main Line at the top and the curving River Wear at the bottom.

It is a remarkable survival of a medieval hall which has a white Lady Ghost in residence

I have not captured anything like this anywhere else in my 45 years of investigating
