The most haunted house near Danville, Virginia sat vacant and overgrown for years before being purchased by the current resident earlier this year. Legends about the property include Jessie and Frank James, General George Washington, a Confederate uprising during the reconstruction, and the birth of golden leaf tobacco. It was also said the the script for the movie, "Interview with a Vampire" was proofread in the attic of the house as it provided the perfect atmosphere.

Since the current resident has moved in, activity has been stirring up. Disembodied voices, knocks, bumps, apparitions, and a dark figure in the attic are among the reports. The team at Virginia Paranormal Investigations is called out to conduct a paranormal investigation of the historic property.

Stay tuned at the end and click on the "Gas, Grub, and Ghosts" link for alternate footage and a behind the scenes look at this investigation.
