Napier Prison was built in 1862 and is the oldest prison in New Zealand. It executed 4 prisoners but had many other deaths within its walls. It has been reputed to be haunted, so we went in to find out for ourselves.

Please note this is just a record of the night. It was intended to be a live feed, not a little documentary. We are not filmmakers or professional editors, but we hope you enjoy the night.

We do use the Spirit box/Ghost box which is in effect a broken radio. Some believe it is just audio pareidolia others that it is communication with the dead. Who knows but we have added it anyway as it was part of what we trialled at the time.
