Ioco, an abbreviation of Imperial Oil Corporation,is located in Port Moody, BC. It is located on the northern shore of the Burrard Inlet. Ioco was originally a townsite for an Imperial Oil refinery. The shanty town housed up to 200 workers and their families. The town had its own school, grocery store, church, and a community hall. Now we shall see if the “previous” residence would like to communicate with us
