Our friends Jen and Marcel of @J&M Explorations hosted a meetup and exploration at the Hoosac Tunnel's east portal. There's freight trains, ruins of a hydro electric building used to cool the tunnel during construction (took some diggin' to find that), and we even went underground to Mordor in a death-defying Josh Gates-level trek. *Jen spoke about this great history and all our audio was blargged by the monstrous train sounds nearby.
