Our second expedition into National would transpire in February 2018 as we would take on Nevada's Richest gold mining town in the middle of winter in sub zero temperatures. We will journey across a frozen expanse towards the Santa Rosa Mountains where we will end up at the mouth of National Canyon. Only this time on this journey we were able to cross three mile creek and reach this ghost towns only set of remaining stone ruins. Off to the west a massive storm is heading our way and snowstorm so our time would be very limited at the early beginnings of this once booming mining town. Excitement builds as the creek is low which would allow us to access some areas we could not during our first expedition. We are not sure where this journey will end but we know where it begins as we get ready to take on the inhospitable Santa Rose Mountains of northern Nevada.
