Our end of the month practice and scrimmage up at the ranch. Skies are darkened while welcoming some rain to cool us off all we seen were a few drops here and there. As extreme heat, drought and a blast of hot winds try to damper our game. But rather then rain who will reign? I would say out of all of us Woodie had the best game accumulating the most pointage although River is right on up there too. Every week it varies player to player but he seems to be getting well adjusted to playing outdoors. But everyone had some good plays on and off the court and little James showed on up as well just like old times. Honestly, its great balling together sure its a little breezy and warm out but we always have a blast. When I share these videos I want others to be a part of the fun because that is what we are doing is going out having fun out there. Its kind of hard to be to serious when your playing Rammstein, throwing three pointers in 30mph winds and running like a crazy man in 100 degree weather lol. But in a sense this will help our game because it teaches us to control our shots more making each one count and to work past various walls as a whole. Their are only four games on this reel while that may not seem like very much we decided to play 1's and 2's rather then twos and threes so you have to score twice as much per game. Therefore games are a little longer between us just to clarify what your observing. All games though up to eleven! Then at the end is our trip to Aloha to get some wrapping papers gotta smoke that end of the game blunt to chill a little and then ill finish it with our healthy end of the scrimmage good eats as ill flaunt my London Broil Slow-Cooked Pot Roast with a nice side of cheddar broccoli rice. While exercise is important or rather physical fitness its important to eat right to help build muscle but to replace all the energy that gets used up outdoors. Playing outdoors makes us burn more energy but its a good way fast to drop pounds and ready ourselves for league. This was a good week for our team we have various new jerseys, team logos and were registered to play on a Reno tournament starting in August so yes we do have to be ready. James ran a drill sorry did not film it but there will be more I just got caught up in the moment trying to learn what he was trying to share with the players. So lots of great ball being played here and defense as always was top of the line! We must be ready to rise to the occasion! With that being said have a very safe and happy 4th of July from the Phantoms sports team!
