This is my very first document on the Salem Witch Trials that focuses on the role of women during the seventeenth century Colonial America time and how women were vulnerable to accusations from being witches and aligning themselves with the devil and practicing witch craft.

Before the Salem Witch Trials in 1692, there were more than 98 cases of accused victims in 1682. Of the 98 victims, 19 were put to death. Many more were tortured and burned alive as their punishment.

Sir William Phip ended the Salem Witch Trials in 1693.
