Lone Pine California is know for the Western Cowboys Movie locations in Alabama Hills. The rusty rocks and beautiful Mount Whitney shows a great view for movies.

Rich in History Lone Pine is also a Great tourist attraction for stopper bus on hwy 395 to Mammoth or Hikers to hike the beautiful Sierras.

I stopped here as my car engine light came on.. and it was perfect storm. The manager a Minden told me of some experiences in the Dow hotel previously owned by The Duke John Wayne and it was et Minden and I did a Ghost investigation !!

The Singin Cowboys were NON STOP
Roy Rogers, spoke and SOMEONE Pushed my Camera on a Soild Tripod on the table while we were on other side of room!! Great Catches
