The Black Angel is an urban legend about a statue of an angel in Oakland Cemetery, Iowa City. This angel is black as it was struck by lightening and it is believed that the angel is cursed by the woman whose remains are underneath it a long with her husband and child. It is said that the woman was an evil woman and anyone who kisses, touches or vandalizes the statue will die...
