This by far is our largest team practice we had in a few months since our 1st place win up in Sparks. So were going big but were also getting organized for the upcoming tournament. Hence the size and length of these practice scrimmages. When we make it rain good things are happening as we actually decide to practice with another team who will be facing off with in the near future. No bad blood here just a group of us hooping and facing off.

In this practice their will be bouts of shooting in between two half court games and six full court games. We also want to welcome our newest players to the team they will be a good fit. Some of us are just lucky enough to be able to have that opportunity to compete and play. Being that we have many new players I felt we did well against the other team considering our team has played them years ago and they are well rounded basketball players.

Were still going to need more work when you induce new players to the team it takes time to get organized and become a unit. The only way you win is being a unit and so our team is going to have to rebuild our defensive stance. But I think once others get the defense down and make better decisions when to make it rain were going to pose challenging to other team.

We are only 17 days away from our preseason opener so we have work to do but WHEN not IF the Phantoms make it rain its going to be exciting. Our fans, viewers and family should really look forward to not only this good ball being played but our upcoming season! Lots of good shots, passes and game play here even for just a practice. Really regardless of what others think as a coach I want our team to have fun the more you have fun the more your going to win so for having some new players we did just that!
