Woodstock 1969 saw people enjoy a now historic music and art festival. Even though the promoters begged people not to head to there, 500,000 of them flooded into the small towns of White Lake and Bethel, New York.

They put up with rain, mud, and lack of food and water and pitched their tents everywhere they could, including in the local cemeteries.
