Hudson Nevada came to be in 1911 around the same time the Nevada Copper Railroad Company's tracks were laid that came through Wilson Canyon and eventually Hudson up to Ludwig, Mason, Wabuska, Yerington, Thompson Smelter and Nordyke. This town served as a freight and stage station in the heart of Smith Valley today known for its ranching specializing in the exportation of goods to other local mining towns such as Bodie and Ludwig. When the tracks were removed and the train was abandoned the town's growth ceased leaving behind what little remains of this booming town. Today all that remains is a couple structures, wagon, rusty remnants of the past and a few open plots of land where Hudson's residents once lived. With great views of the Singatse and Pine Nut Mountain this scenic ghost town is one of Nevada's hidden jewels forgotten by the elements of time we seek to uncover it. Today all the rusty relics of the pass, broken glass and piles of wood form a story of what once was. Included in this tour of Hudson is also EMF readings taken at the 5:01 & 11:12 timestamp's opening up the possibility that hidden energies lurk what once was!
