Take a ride on the pumpkin express as we return to the Western Pacific Railroad doing a little urbex for our viewers. This is a two hour exploration of us climbing on cabooses, locomotives, box cars and even a luxurious zephyr cars. Ill fill you in on the history of the feather river route one of the most success western rail lines in the country.Will start off crossing the feather river and will end it after we encounter drama at Subway. Will also take you on a journey towards the end of the video where we will board this historic railroad taking it from the patch to the old freight house. You will see easily over 170 pieces of rolling stock including a 98' Union Pacific Engine and even some other unique cars such as a tour of the Charles O. Sweetwood car used in the Korean War to collect blood and even some crane cars. The WPRR museum is one of the largest in the country located in the heart of Portola its surrounded with scenic beauty and wonderful history. During our first exploration I lost all the footage so this is our second expedition with video footage recorded in October of 2018 so others could enjoy these trains the same way we did. Your going to see some really cool railroading history some of which you will not see anywhere else!
