My Haunted Diary special short episode with paranormal explorer James Edward Garcia in Long Island, New York successfully communicating with Harry Houdini and other spirits on Halloween Night via Ghost Box session.


On late Halloween night October, 31 2015 I was able to communicate with 32 spirits including Harry Houdini and his wife Bess. I used a laptop with 2 ghost box apps: “GB-Rift” and the “Vocibus”, running an audio feed to “The Portal” I assembled based on Steve Huff’s design. The results were pretty amazing.

I had also done spirit box sessions at Houdini’s grave site that day. I will eventually put out an episode from that investigation, along with footage from a previous time I visited his grave a few years back. – James Edward Garcia

The Houdini séance has been a Halloween tradition since the first anniversary of his death. The magician died at the age of 52 on October 31, 1926 from an internal infection as the result of a ruptured appendix.

Shortly before his death, Houdini made a pact with Bess that if he could, he would return and make contact with her from the other side. They devised a coded message that only he and Bess knew; this would prove that it really was Houdini breaking through from the afterlife.

But after 10 séances in 10 years, Bess had not received her beloved husband's personal message.

Ouija board’s and séances are traditional methods still used to try and communicate with spirits and entities. But with the advancement of technology
there are many new tools used to capture visual and audio evidence of the other side.

In this short film I utilize ITC Spirit Communication. Instrumental Transcommunication is defined as communication by spirit beings with human beings via telephones, tape recorders, televisions, computers and other electronic devices.
