The story is about the Arabic teacher, imam, who used to come and teach the narrator and his brother Arabic. The teacher used to teach at their house but later stopped coming without any explanation. The narrator's father found another teacher, Said, to teach them Arabic. Sa'id also teaches at Paru's house, where something seems to be wrong. imam starts experiencing strange things while at Paru's house, and on the last night, he sees four black dogs barking silently and feels a warm breath behind his ear. He recites the Islamic verses and leaves the place immediately. The next day, he does not return, and Paru's mother tells her son that Sa'id might be feeding them jinn instead of teaching Arabic.
