The story begins with Paru crying for help, and her parents rushing to her side. She tells them that someone is peeking through the window of their house, but when her father checks, he finds no one. Later that night, Paru's mother hears noises coming from the kitchen and sees a shadow outside the window. She quickly closes the window, and the family discusses the possibility of someone keeping an eye on them.

The next day, they meet with an imam who offers to help investigate. The imam suggests that talismans are being used to remove evil spirits from their place of residence, and until they are removed, the family will continue to be affected. Paru's parents talk about leaving the place, but it seems impossible.

Physical problems and illnesses continue to plague Paru, and the family seeks help from an imam, a knowledgeable scholar. He reveals that Paru's family had a fierce fight with one side of the member many years ago, and the land behind their house is where the talismans are being used. Hujur says that breaking the talisman won't be easy, and it's powerful because of the hair and menstrual cloth collected from the family.

Paru's father wants to build a new house on land given by his mother-in-law for his daughter's marriage, but it's obstructed by Para's uncle. The family faces attacks and various troubles, and Paru's aunt curses him. As a result, Paru faces numerous problems, and even his clothes become unusable when left outside.
