Before Mammon took the fall from heaven to hell, he was more enthralled by heavens Golden pavement, than its celestial leader. He carried is craving for wealth down with him into the firey brimstone abyss, where he is still plotting up ways to manupulate humans in order to multiply his treasures.
Mammon is a demon who, according to christian theology, embodies one of the seven deadly sins: greed.

They say his monstrous greed has grown so powerful that innocent people could be consumed by it, and be left curropted. It turns people from their spritual side, and leaves them strongly focused on the attainment of wordly treasures and currency.

Although Christians of the Middle Ages gave Mammon a persona, there is not much of a consistent image of him. He has been shown as a gargantuan red-skinned demon, a glorious emperor, and a decrepit old man who could easily blend in with every day folks.
They say the best way of recognizing Mammom is by looking out for excessive displays of wealth. He will always find a way to flaunt his wealth.

They say that he inspires envy, lust, and greed so potent that even the best of men could be driven into corruption. Usually Mammons trechourous grip leads to obsession, and once fallen under his gaze you may stryggle to focus on anything other than the treasure he has used to tempt you. He will monopolize your energy, and many have described Mammon as an enslavor of men.

During the middle ages many people considered Mammon to be a dark-hearted deity, that even church leaders distinguidhed as a powerful lord over the demonic hordes of hell. In such, he was named one of the Seven princes of hell, and some estimated that mammon would have as many as 6,660,000 demons under his control.

During the emergence of christianity under roman rule, many people associated mammon with Plutus, the Greco-roman god of wealth. Not only was plutus lord of a magnificant fortune, but he was also greatly associated with envy. Some associated mammon with julius caeser himself, because of his control of Romes wealth, and claims of being a god.

Approxamatley 300 years later, as christian ideology took on new complexities and the gods of old were left behind, a fresh alter-ego appeared for mammon. Gregory of Nyssa, a bishop of the Roman Catholic church claimed that beelzebub and mammon were one and the same, and with Beelzebubs reputation, the possible connection of these demons reinforced people terror of Mammon.

The etymology of the world “mammon” can be traced back to the Aramaic dialect, however it had little historical significance until it was taken up by early Christians. Clearly, the word has always meant “wealth,” but the evil connotation—and personification—of the word seems to be mostly a Christian interpretaion.

In alfonso De Spinas Fortaltium Fide, he divided the demons into ten groups. Spina put mammon quite high in the rankings, as one of the demons who attack saints. He was also said to tempt great men with greed. A century later Bishop Peter Binsfield presented a clasification system for demons using the seven deadly sins to rank certain demons as the seven princes of hell, naturally mammon matched up with greed.
